Hello Kittens!
Everything is moving so quickly these days! This year has flown by, and I feel like I can barely keep up. In just a few weeks my oldest with finish the 3rd grade and will head to summer camp, I have two amazing books coming out at the end of the month (yes these are hard dates. Fitzgerald will be out on the 30th of May and Ember will be out the next day!), and the anthology that I have been so excited about has already hit kindles (or nooks or whatever you read on).
So, lets circle back to the purple hair. As you know, my sister moved back from Chicago just a few weeks ago. We had been talking forever about having a hair dying party when she was back, but it kind of kept getting pushed off. Well, we did it! We are both rocking epic purple hair (hers the bottom two inches of her hair, it looks so cute on her, and mine the from face pieces), you might even say violently purple. Mine took a few tries.
I had so many recommendations to use Arctic Fox, that I didn’t even hesitate to grab a bottle and go to town. Sadly, it didn’t work on me. It barely colored my hair at all, even after a second application (yes, I did lighten my hair first per the instructions), so I switched over to another brand, called Iroiro, recommended by the girl at Sally’s Beauty. It defiantly worked! My sister had more success with her brand (The Good Dye Young), and it looks fabulous. Even my oldest got in on the hair dying action (with wash out color). All in all, a total success (even if it took me switching brands) in a sisterly bonding experience.
In book news, Fitz is done, he’s off to my editor and my fabulous beta Sara, and I am getting the best comments from her! I love reading the little notes she sends me. She is honestly the best beta that anyone could ask for, and has been on this journey with me for quite some time. Also, shout out to my editor
who is also one of my book wives. I am so amazed by all the things she’s doing right now, you should absolutely go and check her out.Along with Fitz, Ember is in its last stages. We went back and decided to add in a few chapters, just to give the book an extra something, and she should be toddling off to KDP land soon.
Finally, Aliens on Earth has landed, and along with it is a second installment of my Interstellar Dragon Mates series with Miri Stone (Doctor Mate if you want to read the first one) and a new novella in the Blood Moon Riders series that I write with Mariah! (heads up, they forgot to credit me for Prometheus Bound, but with as many stories as they were juggling, I’m not upset.)
Things are moving along so quickly this year, I don’t think I’ve told you all that I’ll be in Salem Massachusetts for Getting Witchy With It, September 16th and 17th. I will be signing (along with Mariah Thayer and TK Eldridge) on Sunday Sept 17th. If you are planning to attend, please come and say hi! It’ll be my first signing, and I’m crazy excited, but also terribly nervous.

Welcome to Peach Licker Georgia
Ember and her cousins scattered to the winds after college, but a mysterious letter from their aunt pulls them back home.
Being a baker in New York isn't all it's cracked up to be. Ridiculous hours, bare minimum pay, and a tiny efficiency apartment with her cat wasn't exactly what Ember was expecting when she left Culinary School with top marks. But going home to Peach Licker, Georgia, and admitting defeat was not what she had planned. Then the letter came. An urgent call to come home to her ailing aunt and take over the family shop with her cousins may just change the course of Ember's life.
Thor, president of the Barbarian Kings Motorcycle club, never felt a tie to anywhere. Along with his brothers, Loki and Tyr, he had been traveling the country for as long as he could remember. Other members came and went, but their bond was absolute. And all because they had been on the run from (Who? Again?). But one foot, or wheel, into Peach Licker, and he instantly knows its time to put down roots and stage his last stand. Definitely has nothing to do with the pretty new bakery owner in town.
Ember is the first book in the Southern Bell Coven by Shelly Ferguson and K.O. Newman. Set in a tiny coastal town near Savannah where things are far from normal. Preorder your copy now so you don't miss this hot new series!
Ember will be out JUNE FIRST!
The Lords of Khaos are riding again!
Being a grizzly means you're on the top of the food chain but in the world where shifters are experimenting on their own even apex predators are fair game.
Rebekah O’Mahony has found herself an orphan without a den and running for her life. Alone and on the run from enemies who want her back in their clutches, she turns to the one man who she thinks can help her find her brother and keep her safe. A man she's never been able to forget, no matter how much time has passed. With evil nipping at her heels, the Lords of Khaos are more than willing to bring a lost sister back into the fold.
Fitzgerald Kavanaugh doesn't see himself as the hero in anyone's story, not even his own. But when a childhood friend reaches out to him desperate for help, he does the only thing he can, and steps up. When he realizes that Bex has only barely escaped Longshot–the same cutthroat club that LOKI has been looking for–and their fearsome allies, he's more determined than ever to protect her. Getting one step closer to unraveling the mystery he and his brothers have been chasing.
Only thing is, seeing one another for the first time in two decades yields an unexpected twist. On the verge of war Fitz has found the fated mate he didn't know he'd lost, and wasn’t aware that he needed, only to find that Longshot poses a threat to his future on a much more personal level. As the Lords of Khaos prepare to go to battle, will the promise of love and a happily ever after be enough to see Bex and Fitz through? Or will the danger that is lurking just outside of Ironwood’s gates be more than they can handle?
Don’t forget to pre-order!

It’s a charity anthology with it’s proceeds going to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
I have two stories in this anthology! One with the amazing Miri Stone and one with my bestie Mariah Thayer. Both are part of current series we are writing!
