Hello Kittens
I have to say, my lovely readers, I haven’t done all that much this month. It’s summer, so the kiddos are all into their camp thing, but things with the infant classroom doesn’t really change since we can’t do swimming or water play. It’s also been unbearably hot here in the center of the country. We’re talking 9th ring of hell, hot and humid. Outdoor anything has been strictly a no go. I am a creature of winter, and summer is my kryptonite. I just crumble.
So, what have I been doing during these unbearable days? Lots of sleeping. Heat usually equals naps for me. I’ve also been deep in the writers cave working on Peach. This couple—woah buddy—they are something. Cash is the cool, calm, collected that Peach needs while she finds her feet. Not only as a full fledged member of the Lords of Khaos clan, but also in a world that is changing constantly around her. Lots of feels, but also some fun bits. I’m wrapping up the writing, and I have a little down time before my editor (
for those of you who don’t know) can get to it. But Peach will be hitting your Kindles soon! All of this to say, I’ve had a pretty low key month. Between the heat, writing my little fingers off, getting ready for my trip to Salem, and getting strep throat (zero out of ten, do not recommend). July has been quiet and filled with air conditioning, juxtaposed by epic thunderstorms.
I only have one more thing for you all to think about. I’m working on my signing schedule for next year…
If you have specific signings where you would like to see me, please comment on this post, and I’ll see how my schedule works out! (PS I will be at Deadwood again next year, that’s already set!)
XOXO,
Kat

Are you ready for Brave New World?
The next chapter of Lords of Khaos is almost here. Same tough as nails biker bears, who are absolutely marshmallows for their fated mates, but now the world knows what they really are.
The shifters of the Lords of Khaos Motorcycle Club are on the prowl. There is nothing they want more than their fated mates, but its not always as simple as it sounds. Especially now that shifters are public knowledge, and not everyone is thrilled with the idea that there really is magic in the world. Are you ready for some growly bears, feisty women, and a little bit of blood, guns and violence? Enter Ironwood Heights, a former psychiatric hospital that now houses the LOKI MC, and fall in love with all the chaos mates can bring, and buckle up for the trials and tribulations of this Brave New World.
Darkness always comes before the dawn, and in this brave new world, there are monsters in the shadows.
The revelation that magic is real has sent the human world into chaos. Fear, anger and panic have ruled the day. In the wake of new laws popping up all over the country aimed to restrict the uses of magic and the movements of shifters, Peach is faced with more problems than she anticipated. Namely her old clan showing up with the evil of all evils, Paradigm, and a sexy biker bear shifter that comes to play hero, and pulls at her in a way her little Crow heart isn't ready to handle. She's already been claimed as a mate once, and she's less than interested in repeating the experience.
Cash left Ironwood Heights behind, but not the Lords of Khaos. Riding as the Pres of their Nomad chapter served him just fine. A life on the road, a new bed every night, and far outside of the shadow of his big brother, Lesleigh. Being called back to the mother chapter wasn't on his bingo card, but then neither was a grizzly shifter making the eight o'clock news. For Cash, the only bright side of being back in Vermont is the inky haired beauty that's his fated mate, even when she's got a knife to his throat.
With the looming changes coming all over the country regarding shifters, can Peach and Cash carve out a little bit of light in the darkest time and find their Happily Ever After? What’s in store for shifter kind and magic in a world that has all but lost its spark?
Also, quick reminder. Once Peach hits the shelves, I will be pulling Fitzgerald from Kindle Unlimited! You have til the end of August to read Fitz and Bex story for free through the KU program. It will be enrolled into Kobo Plus after that, and you can read it for free there!
Who’s ready for some book signings?
This year, I am fortunate enough to get to go to two more amazing signing events! I can’t wait to get to meet more of my readers, and get some face time with my author and reader friends who live much too far away. I loved seeing everyone at Deadwood!
GETTING WITCHY WITH IT:
and I will be attending GWWI for the second time this year, and we will be accompanied by and our PAs Sara and Debra as well. This is a FREE event, but of course you can get VIP tickets for an enhanced experience. It will take place at the Boston Marriot Peabody, and Mariah, Shelly and I will be signing on Saturday September 14th. Any information you could need for the event will be on the Anytime Author Promotions website and my preorder for this event is HERE. This year, unfortunately I will not get the amazing experience of driving from Illinois to Mass (not sarcastic, I really loved the road trip we took last year) and thus will have a limited number of books! Please preorder.BOOKS BY THE ARCH:
On October 5th I will be signing at Books by the Arch in St. Louis Missouri on my own. I will of course have my lovely PA Sara with me (who I am more than grateful for, cause I’m not the world’s best peopler when it comes to large crowds—I promise I want to talk to you all! I just freak out a bit.) You can find tickets for this event HERE and more information on the event itself HERE and if you want to preorder books from me you can do so HERE. This is a hometown event for me, so I’m likely to have a good number of books on the day, but if you want to ensure you get specific books, please preorder (and they come with extra swag when you do!).
WHO WANTS A FREE BOOK?!?
This year I have gotten together with some of the very best in Romance, to be able to offer my readers a free book each and every month.
WHAT?
Yes. A free book from some of my favorite authors will be available in my first of the month news letter.

Friend Recs!
I have some amazing writer and reader friends out there, and they’ve recommended a couple of books this month that I wanted to share with you!
Kourtney
The words “slow” and “no” don’t exist in my vocabulary. They never have.
So, when a stranger at my sister’s wedding captures my attention, it shouldn’t shock anyone that I’m all in. I’ve never shied away from something I want, and I want Wayne Rivers. With no logical reasoning, I insist we belong together.
He might agree with me, but he has his own timeline, determined to show me what a real southern gentleman is. He’s sweet and incredibly romantic, but he’s driving me crazy. And the sexy adonis knows it.
Wayne
Falling in love isn’t a race. It’s a journey. And I was tired of being made a fool out of at the end of it.
Therefore, I vow my next relationship is going to be different. I want a forever girl and that’s going to take time. Then I meet her. Kourtney Monroe. She’s everything I want in a woman. She’s strong, sexy, and confident.
For weeks, I hold her at arms length. I know we both want more, but yet I still deny us. My pesky self-promise taunts me. Keep it slow or you’ll lose her. But when a co-worker offers her a place to stay, I see red. Impulsively, I offer up my apartment. The only issue, there’s only one bed.
Rules are set.
Boundaries are drawn.
In the end it doesn't matter. All that matters is us.
Sascha has always felt powerless, the weak baby of a cruel family. But that’s fine. He has his looks, his ample allowance, and a smattering of one-night stands to keep him busy. But when Sascha’s oldest brother offends the wrong people, Sascha finds himself in hiding with a target on his back. And when poking around in his temporary home leads to accidentally summoning the hottest demon Sascha could ever imagine, he has to ask himself: does he want to feel powerless anymore?
Kai has been waiting centuries for a summons. When he’s at long last brought to the human realm for his final contract, he expects to find another warrior hungry for battle and bloodshed. Instead, he finds himself bound to a saucy, scared mobster princeling who can’t stop looking at Kai like he’s dinner. It isn’t long before Kai decides that—for once—he wouldn’t mind staying exactly where he is, with a certain human for his mate.
But Sascha isn’t used to anyone sticking around, let alone caring for him in any real way. It’s up to Kai to convince Sascha he can give him so much more than protection. He just has to deal with those pesky enemies—and Sascha’s own meddling family—first.
Pppppppeach!!! 🥳🤣🥳 So proud of you babe for driving through this project and getting her book out into the world! 🍑💙🌈💙🍑
I feel you about the heat! I don't hate it as much as I used to, and I don't thrive in winter either, but I too am ready for summer to call it quits. I want fall. It's my favorite season, and it never lasts long enough.
