Hello Kittens!
Dramatic title, I know, but some months that’s how you feel. Let’s just say that this year has not been going my way, and I feel like everything I’m doing is playing catch-up. Have no fear, I’m not giving up. I’m far too stubborn for that, but FUCK.
This is me coming to you straight off of nearly my entire family having COVID, right after my youngest had surgery (he’s doing great, and was the only one who didn’t get COVID, knock on wood), which came after me coming home from an awesome trip to Salem (and a book signing!) to find out my job had disappeared while I was gone, and a laundry list of other thing that have toppled since January. I’m not complaining, just reeling a bit.
Picking up the pieces and starting again is a bitch. Doing it twice in one year is beyond draining. But I’ve been down before, I’ll get back up again. In the meantime, I’m working on those books I keep promising you all.
I do have some super good news, though! Along with Getting Witchy With It next September, and Deadwood Wild Reads in June, I will also be signing at Books Under the Arch in my hometown of St. Louis in October! I’ll have pre-orders up super soon (in fact, you can hit up my signup for Deadwood now: Deadwood Pre-Order Form) I’ll be adding to the forms as books come out, so if you don’t see something that you know is coming soon, sign up for updates at the bottom of the form.
So this year isn’t going the way I wanted, and things are a little more chaotic than usual… my writing will benefit from the insanity. And things can always get better. I hope you all are having an amazing fall, and enjoying the crisper, cooler weather, I know I am.

Things are happening in the world of LOKI that no one is ready for, are you?
You can't shove shifters back into their little box once a woman turns into a raging grizzly in the middle of downtown. The human world was about to be turned upside-down.
Whisper never thought her life would be so good. Living with LOKI, safe and sound from the horrors of her childhood and working as a tattoo artist with her best friend and savior Les was a dream come true. But that dream quickly turns into a nightmare when Paradigm stampedes into Ironwood on the back of dragons and monsters. Kidnapped and thrown into a cage in the depths of an underground facility, Whisper has lost hope. With each passing moment she slips further into her mind, letting her animal–Frigga–take charge to keep the fragile human from falling apart.
Theron (Scar) Aetos has been hiding in plain sight his entire life. There wasn’t ever much choice, when you’re the last of your kind. His animal–Scar–was his only companion. He thought all was lost when he was captured by Paradigm, but that all changed as he was tossed into a cell with his fated mate. Except something is very wrong with the mercurial eyed Whisper, and Theron just can’t work it out. Putting his trust in her may just be his complete undoing as they are both shoved into the limelight when her grizzly comes tearing out of her skin.
Will they be able to escape the sudden celebrity and make space for their mating? Can Whisper come out of her shell and accept the man who claims to love her above all others? And what happens once the lights fade? Can humanity handle the knowledge that their myths and legends have really been lurking in the shadows the entire time?
Magic can be a fickle thing, especially when those in charge aren’t playing fair.
Samantha had always known she’d go her own way. Growing up in the rigid Still Waters Coven in Valhalla’s Pass felt too restrictive in ways she couldn’t quite put into words. Which was ironic given she was a scribe, a rare form of very precise but powerful word magic based on the ancient art of hieroglyphics.
But when the Stellar Misfits Motorcycle Club come crash landing into her sanctuary, Valhalla’s Pass Library, determined to run off the deadly Drakon Hunters MC, she realizes her world is about to change.
As the Stellar Misfits numbers are bolstered by a fresh shipment of space-faring Vikings, Samantha suddenly finds herself confronted by a new truth. Not only is she destined to help the Drakons protect their human mates, she has been fated by the stars to her own alien hotties in leather.
Only problem is, her ancient magic refuses to let her get close to them. The longer she fails to secure their bond, the more dangerous their situation becomes. Because the dreaded mating sickness has taken hold of her mates… And Samantha feels powerless to protect them.
Can Samantha find a way to tame her magical aversion to her fated mates? Or will their courage to travel the stars in search of her lead to their ultimate demise?
Doc isn’t ready for the perfect chaos coming his way. Brace for impact.
On the hunt for dark witches fleeing with a dangerous book of magic, Blood Moon can't afford distractions. And that includes a moment of respite with a shiny new mate. Good thing Doc is positive that possibility has passed. Nothing could prepare him for what the goddess has in store.
Doc has given his life to Blood Moon and the Nomad chapter of the MC. It had been years since he'd even considered the likelihood of a fated mate crossing his path, much less agreeing to a life on the road with the rough and ready bikers. And yet, the Goddess sees fit to throw her directly into his path just as the Nomads are on the hunt for Trillium Moon and Hekate's stolen book. Complicating matters even further, Nora is young–too young. There's no chance in hell that Doc will subject her to the difficulties of being mated to the club's doctor and a life without roots.
Nora came to Taos for one thing: to escape the hold of her rigid parents by joining her older brother, Tank, the Sgt-at-Arms of the Blood Moon Riders' Taos Chapter. Nora thinks she's finally found her peace–and maybe her place–in New Mexico, until she runs smack into her fated mate in the visiting Nomad Chapter's handsome doctor. She is immediately drawn to his calm, solid presence. But Doc wants nothing to do with Nora, barely a college graduate and several years his junior. Nevermind that the chemistry between them hits like a bomb going off. Nevermind that in one another's arms, the dark clouds of war feel far less ominous.
Finding the mate you never expected in the midst of war is a test of conviction and fortitude–something Doc and Nora have in spades. They must learn to believe in the wisdom of the goddess–and that they deserve the fierce promise of love that has been offered to them–in spite of all the obstacles. Or Doc will leave Taos bereft of half his soul, and Nora rootless and alone with darkness closing in.
