Hello Kittens
I can’t believe that it’s February already. I feel like I was just watching the ball drop on New Years Eve, but simultaneously like this blasted month would never end. But it’s over. January is now a thing of the past, and with that comes new free books for you all. I’m so excited to send these out. But first, a little life update.
I have finally put the final words into Whisper, which will be the final book in my Lords of Khaos: Ironwood series. Now don’t worry, we aren’t going to leave the Lords or Ironwood just yet. Peach will spearhead a brand new series, and she’ll be coming out just as soon as my little fingers can get her story written (and I write the two books I have ahead of her 😱).
We’ll get back to books later, though. Life, it seems, never does what you expect it to. I’ve been battling long covid for four months now, and nothing’s changing. It’s been incredibly disheartening, but I’m starting to fall into a routine that works for me, and around my symptoms.
The kiddos are thriving. They are always into something new, and at the moment for my oldest that’s clay. He’s been starting art classes, and the way he lights up when he shows me what he’s made makes my heart happy. The tiny human is doing great things too. His brain is just a miraculous place to visit. He’s started telling me stories in the car, drawing from books they read at school to fairytales, and even his own little mind. They’re detailed, convoluted and always have a twist you don’t see coming.
Other than writing and hanging out with the kids around my long covid induced naps, I’m going to be volunteering for the tiny human’s preschool a few days a week. The thinking is that it’ll get me out of the house, and I’m giving back to the synagogue that has supported both myself and my family through some of the hardest times in our lives.
As always, check out the new books coming, the free book I have on offer (it’s a really good one!) and please click the links for the bookfunnel promos. It helps me so much, and maybe you’ll find your next favorite book!
XOXO,
Kat

Whisper is dropping sooner than you expect!
You can't shove shifters back into their little box once a woman turns into a raging grizzly in the middle of downtown. The human world was about to be turned upside-down.
Whisper never thought her life would be so good. Living with LOKI, safe and sound from the horrors of her childhood and working as a tattoo artist with her best friend and savior Les was a dream come true. But that dream quickly turns into a nightmare when Paradigm stampedes into Ironwood on the back of dragons and monsters. Kidnapped and thrown into a cage in the depths of an underground facility, Whisper has lost hope. With each passing moment she slips further into her mind, letting her animal–Frigga–take charge to keep the fragile human from falling apart.
Theron (Scar) Aetos has been hiding in plain sight his entire life. There wasn’t ever much choice, when you’re the last of your kind. His animal–Scar–was his only companion. He thought all was lost when he was captured by Paradigm, but that all changed as he was tossed into a cell with his fated mate. Except something is very wrong with the mercurial eyed Whisper, and Theron just can’t work it out. Putting his trust in her may just be his complete undoing as they are both shoved into the limelight when her grizzly comes tearing out of her skin.
Will they be able to escape the sudden celebrity and make space for their mating? Can Whisper come out of her shell and accept the man who claims to love her above all others? And what happens once the lights fade? Can humanity handle the knowledge that their myths and legends have really been lurking in the shadows the entire time?
Peach is reading and raring to go!
Darkness always comes before the dawn, and in this brave new world, there are monsters in the shadows.
The revelation that magic is real has sent the human world into chaos. Fear, anger and panic have ruled the day. In the wake of new laws popping up all over the country aimed to restrict the uses of magic and the movements of shifters, Peach is faced with more problems than she anticipated. Namely her old clan showing up with the evil of all evils, Paradigm, and a sexy biker bear shifter that comes to play hero, and pulls at her in a way her little Crow heart isn't ready to handle. She's already been claimed as a mate once, and she's less than interested in repeating the experience.
Cash left Ironwood Heights behind, but not the Lords of Khaos. Riding as the Pres of their Nomad chapter served him just fine. A life on the road, a new bed every night, and far outside of the shadow of his big brother, Lesleigh. Being called back to the mother chapter wasn't on his bingo card, but then neither was a grizzly shifter making the eight o'clock news. For Cash, the only bright side of being back in Vermont is the inky haired beauty that's his fated mate, even when she's got a knife to his throat.
With the looming changes coming all over the country regarding shifters, can Peach and Cash carve out a little bit of light in the darkest time and find their Happily Ever After? What’s in store for shifter kind and magic in a world that has all but lost its spark?
WHO WANTS A FREE BOOK?!?
This year I have gotten together with some of the very best in Paranormal Romance, to be able to offer my readers a free book each and every month.
WHAT?
Yes. A free book from some of my favorite authors will be available in my first of the month news letter.
And so it Begins
Jolene is the name she uses now - but she's had many names. Joan, Josephine, Johanna...yet she's always been just "Jo" to those she let get close.
Name changes are part of one's existence when one is an intelligence operative - and when one is a vampire.
One of the founding members of S.I.N. - the Supernatural Intelligence Network, Jo spends her days helping to keep supernaturals under the radar of the general public - among other things.
When a new man appears in her life, Jo has to decide if they'll stay enemies - or work together to keep the world safe from an old evil with a new face.
