Hello Kittens!
Summer is in full swing, and I’ve been a very naughty author. I haven’t been keeping up on any of my admin. And for that I say, I’m sorry. But its for a very good reason. Well… mostly.
Lets start with, my new job is amazing. I love every minute of it. I’m working for a local contractor, running their office, and that has brought on tons of new experiences, new software, and lots of fun playing with graphics. I’m a one woman show, which means I’m taking on all of their physical marketing and social media. Its been an interesting challenge.
On top of that, I had a bit of a medical emergency. Not to go into too much detail, I have acute sciatica and found myself in the ER with pain I have never experienced before in my life. Not to fret, I have made nearly a full recovery since then. Though, you may have noticed that Wing Witch has been pushed back a bit, to accommodate my recovery.
On to the good news!
Mariah Thayer and I will be in Salem this September for Getting Witchy With It! I can’t tell you how excited I am to be signing at this amazing event. You can look for both of us on Sunday, sharing a table and everything. On top of that, we’re making it a girls trip, and driving from my house all the way to Massachusetts. I’m just buzzing in anticipation. If you’re going to be in Mass in September, come by and check us out! Below will be a link for anyone who wants to preorder books for the signing.
To say that this year has been a bit of a rollercoaster would be an understatement. My world has been upended more than once, but everything has started to right itself again, and the love and support of my family and friends has gotten me through the darkest of times, and made those good times all the better.

Mariah and I are at it again, this time with a new series!
Sookie was a goddess in the kitchen, but a mediocre witch at best. Her spells seemed to take on a life of their own, to often hilarious–usually harmless–results. She just wanted her wings to be tastier. It was only a little spell, a few herbs and spices added to the sauce, a little rhyme to bind it together, and just a taste of razzle dazzle. We can’t wait to meet all of our beautiful readers who are making the trek to Salem this September. We have been anticipating our very first signing for quite some time, and sadly the pandemic has kept pushing back that event. But its finally time! The both of us will be signing on Sunday September 17th (just days before my birthday, which means that I get to spend my special day with my bestie). If you are planning on making the journey to Salem (or you live in the local area), come find us. We would love to meet each and every one of you.
Along with having our books on display, we also have stickers, totes, mugs, postcards, and much much more… Also, if you’re a VIP, we are part of the charm scavenger hunt. Come by, do a task (not sure what yet, but it will cost zero money, just a little time) and claim your charms from both of us. In addition, since not everyone can buy a VIP ticket, we have both decided to have charms for any of our readers who come by and purchase a book or swag.
As we get closer to GWWI I’ll be posting sneak peaks of the swag I have designed for this event (and future events!), so stay tuned. In the mean time, if you’re coming to Salem, please consider preordering books. It’s a long drive from Illinois to Massachusetts, so I will have limited stock, and preordering will ensure that the book or books you want will be yours!

There are also some lovely anthologies that Anytime Authors are putting out for the signing. Included in the Getting Witchy With It 2023 Anthology Book 7 is a short featuring my LOKI characters, told in Cherry’s POV. It’s called Daddy’s Girl, and it’s a little prequel to the LOKI universe, specifically Lesleigh and Cherry’s first moments. You can find it HERE.

Blood Moon Riders has a new installment very soon. And to celebrate, Mariah and I commissioned some little set of Chibi style characters for Thunder Moon. We have Cherry, Peach and Hellebore little friends. And with that, I was thinking about what kind of swag I could put them on. Stickers are obvious (between Mariah and I, we have so many stickers!).
