It's Spooky Season!
Happy October Everyone
Hello Kittens!
This year has been a rollercoaster. The ups and downs have been extreme, and I’m a little bit ready to get off this ride. Problem is, I can’t, can I? My author journey has been a dream. I love writing, and always have, and its my escape from the rest of the world. My little universes that I share with all of you, mean so much to me, and hearing your thoughts and feelings about the characters and stories that I share help me carry on, even when life throws me yet another curve ball.
So, a little bit about what has happened since we last spoke. First, I had the most fun on my trip with my book wife,
and our littles. Driving cross country to Salam Massachusetts was a dream. Camping with the littles was so much fun, and getting to experience the beauty and awesome nature of the ocean for the first time through my youngest, was just amazing.Then I got back home, and said good-bye to Mariah and her munchkin, only to go to work on Monday to find that the company that I was working for has split in two, and neither faction can afford to pay me alone. Which means that once again this year, I’m out of a job.
Cue big sigh.
But that means I have more time for writing, right? You would think so. I am making zero promises, cause I find that when I do, I get completely blocked, and get absolutely nothing done. Instead, I’m going to say that I have a plan. I have several projects that I want out before the end of the year, and I’ll update you on how all of them are going.
What else has happened since my epic road trip?
All four of us are sick. All of us. My husband and youngest and I have head colds that have turned into sinus infections (I blame strange pollen for this), and Mariah and her little bit have been sick too.
But despite all these things, we are all still soldiering on. And exciting things are coming on the horizon.

Nora came to Taos for one thing: to escape the hold of her rigid parents by joining her older brother, Tank, the Sgt-at-Arms of the Blood Moon Riders' Taos Chapter. Nora thinks she's finally found her peace–and maybe her place–in New Mexico, until she runs smack into her fated mate in the visiting Nomad Chapter's handsome doctor. She is immediately drawn to his calm, solid presence. But Doc wants nothing to do with Nora, barely a college graduate and several years his junior. Nevermind that the chemistry between them hits like a bomb going off. Nevermind that in one another's arms, the dark clouds of war feel far less ominous.
