Hello Kittens
The words haven’t exactly been flowing, but I’ve been working on it. The book I’m working on has kept me on my toes, giving me twists and turns that I wasn’t anticipating, and quite a few rabbit holes I’ve fallen down that weren’t planned at all. But, I’ve learned to listen to my characters. They often know things I don’t and in the end the story is all the better for it. It does make it a bit difficult to write a blurb for a book that hasn’t been written, but 🤷♀️its all part of the process.
In non-writing news, I love my new job. Its so amazing to go to work every day and spend time with littles. While there are many poopy diapers to change, and often clothing to wash, the cuddles and love I get everyday far outweigh any of that. Currently we are on spring break—I haven’t had a spring break since college and I’m kind of loving it—so I have a week with my youngest, which is amazing. On top of that, my sister is with us this week, so lots of adventures are happening, including Sebastian’s first trip to the zoo!
I can’t tell you how excited I am for this year, both in the writing cave and in the preschool class room. From getting stuck into a new project to snuggle time, and getting to meet some of you at the different signings I’ll be at!—I’ll be at Wild Deadwood Reads in June, Getting Witchy With It in September, and Books Under the Arch in October. If you’re going to get to be at any of these events, come by my table! I want to get to meet all of you.
For now, I’m going to get back to Possessing Scarlet, which will be out in April. This book is a doozy. The world has been throwing curveballs at me on every page. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I’ve loved writing it.
XOXO,
Kat

Scarlet is coming soon!
More than a hundred years ago, the world ended.
From the ashes a new order rose.
While humans continue to hide from the plague that rewrote their genetics and ravaged their world, Scarlet’s father and his Council line their pockets with the sales of the Omegas born among them. Too afraid to catch the disease that changed everything, humanity atrophies while shifters rebuild.
Still dependent on the humans, shifters are determined to negotiate for the most coveted humans there are, the Omegas. But as the Council rejects another proposal to protect Omegas from barbaric flesh peddling, time is running out for Cade and his pack. They must claim their fated Omega before Scarlet becomes another victim of her father’s greed.
Can Cade save Scarlet before it's too late? Or will the highest bidder, The Huntsman pack, devour their mate whole?
WHO WANTS A FREE BOOK?!?
This year I have gotten together with some of the very best in Paranormal Romance, to be able to offer my readers a free book each and every month.
WHAT?
Yes. A free book from some of my favorite authors will be available in my first of the month news letter.
Thick as a Brick
Tattoos, boyish charm, a million-dollar bank balance, and a faulty filter between his brain and his mouth? That’s romance author, Drew Katterman.
Big boobs, tiny waist, wide hips, and a painful case of self-consciousness? That’s me, up-and-coming audiobook narrator, Zelda Gordon.
Drew’s fans call him brilliant. His detractors call him a playboy.
My reviewers call me talented. My enemies call me opportunistic.
Drew? He calls me perfect. And I call him a threat to my heart because he’s flirtatious, fun, and rich. He also has a gorgeous girlfriend, and I want only a professional relationship with him to prove my detractors wrong. Right?
So why do his sexy smile and kind words inspire ideas that have nothing to do with a microphone and a manuscript?
My competitors may be wrong about me sleeping my way to success, but they’re correct about one thing: I’m in this business to succeed. Screwing with Drew Katterman can only break my heart and prove the competition right.
