Hello Kittens!
September is finally here, and with that comes my first book signing. I will be attending Getting Witchy With It in Salem Massachusetts the weekend of the 17th. Along with my book wife and bestie Mariah Thayer, I will be signing on Sunday, and I can’t wait to meet everyone!
The best part of all of this, other than meeting readers and getting to see some authors that I have been fangirling over, is that I get a full week and a half with one of my favorite humans on the planet, plus our mini-me’s. We’re going to be taking a road trip together, halfway across the country in my husband’s truck—he will be staying home with our oldest—and camping our way to New England. I promise the next newsletter will have tons of pictures!
If you can’t join us in Salem this year, there are still tons of things going on in my author—and home—life, so stay tuned!
What’s in this Edition:
Bartender Mate - What a reception! Bartender Mate has been a smash hit, have you read it yet?
Harvest Moon - Blood Moon Riders are on their way back to your shelves.
A Bookfair, and a Bestie Book!
Getting Witchy With It - My first signing! And with my book wife Mariah Thayer.
Miri Stone and I are at it again, and this time with a full series that’s just bursting to be written. But first, Meet Tess, our BARTENDER MATE!
I love the world that we have created together, first in Doctor Mate (which is out now, but started as part of the WE ARE THE FIRE Anthology) and continued in Rebel Mate (which was in the Aliens on Earth Anthology) and now we have a full length novel, part of a series of four books (for now).
Grab your pre-order of Bartender Mate, if you haven’t already!
Growing up in Valhalla’s Pass wasn’t easy but it made you tough. When her uncle died suddenly, Tess took over the family legacy–Last Chance Bar–in a heartbeat. She didn’t count on the gambling debts.
However, when a new group of scary looking cos-play bikers turn up offering her protection, she’s convinced her quirky bestie is pranking her. Little does Tess know that the Stellar Misfits Motorcycle Club are dead set on winning her over as their fated mate. They’ll start with defending Last Chance Bar from their age-old rivals, the Drakon Hunters MC.
Will Tess be able to put aside her natural skepticism and embrace the idea that the stars might be smiling on her after all? Or will she turn her back on her fated mates, risking their lives in the process, and never let her heart soar?
Interstellar Dragon Mates of Drakonis is the latest sizzling, why choose paranormal motorcycle club romance written by Miri Stone & K.O. Newman. It’s going to have all of the good stuff. Gritty themes, diverse relationship dynamics, plenty of cussing, explicit content in the boudoir, heart-stopping action sequences and, at times, graphic violence. In other words, this sci-fi romance series has been written for a mature audience.
Hop on for a wild ride.
Doc’s story is coming so soon!
Mariah and I can’t tell you how much we have been wanting to get back into this world. Blood Moon has been a comforting companion this past year, and digging into Doc’s story has been a dream.
Grab your pre-order of Harvest Moon (yes, we know that the all mighty Zon has put it in the dungeon, it is what it is).
On the hunt for dark witches fleeing with a dangerous book of magic, Blood Moon can't afford distractions. And that includes a moment of respite with a shiny new mate. Good thing Doc is positive that possibility has passed. Nothing could prepare him for what the goddess has in store.
Doc has given his life to Blood Moon and the Nomad chapter of the MC. It had been years since he'd even considered the likelihood of a fated mate crossing his path, much less agreeing to a life on the road with the rough and ready bikers. And yet, the Goddess sees fit to throw her directly into his path just as the Nomads are on the hunt for Trillium Moon and Hekate's stolen book. Complicating matters even further, Nora is young–too young. There's no chance in hell that Doc will subject her to the difficulties of being mated to the club's doctor and a life without roots.
Nora came to Taos for one thing: to escape the hold of her rigid parents by joining her older brother, Tank, the Sgt-at-Arms of the Blood Moon Riders' Taos Chapter. Nora thinks she's finally found her peace–and maybe her place–in New Mexico, until she runs smack into her fated mate in the visiting Nomad Chapter's handsome doctor. She is immediately drawn to his calm, solid presence. But Doc wants nothing to do with Nora, barely a college graduate and several years his junior. Nevermind that the chemistry between them hits like a bomb going off. Nevermind that in one another's arms, the dark clouds of war feel far less ominous.
Finding the mate you never expected in the midst of war is a test of conviction and fortitude–something Doc and Nora have in spades. They must learn to believe in the wisdom of the goddess–and that they deserve the fierce promise of love that has been offered to them–in spite of all the obstacles. Or Doc will leave Taos bereft of half his soul, and Nora rootless and alone with darkness closing in.
A Bookfair and a Bestie Book!
Hey my lovelies, are you ready for a bookfair filled with your next favorite books (or an excuse to stuff your kindles? My lovely friend TK Eldridge is hosting a bookfair on Bookfunnel, and she’s been filling it with some truly amazing and exquisite works of fiction! Do us all a favor and check it out (plus, clicks mean Bookfunnel is happy with me, and we have had a bit of a rocky relationship). You can click HERE or on the graphic below.
As for my Bestie Book? My lovely bestie and book wife (number two, I’ve been told I have a harem of book wives 😅) has put out a book! Why am I so stoked about this one? Well, first of all one of the most important people in my life has written a book. I feel that’s excuse enough to go gonzo over a bit of paper and ink. But she has also written the first of her solo Paranormal Romance Motorcycle Club series book (also, I may or may not have designed the cover). And it has already been giving readers sleepless nights (in the best way possible). So, without further ado:
Welcome to Iron Mountain Pride Motorcycle Club!
Dawn Miller ran away from home–and her fated mate–the minute she graduated high school. Her soul was stifled in Springset, Montana, and being mated to Erik Rowles would have bound her there for good. She wanted a life of her own. She wanted to see the world. She wanted to find herself. So she ran.
Erik Rowles, left behind when his mate fled their hometown for college in Colorado, joined Iron Mountain Pride MC and sealed his fate. Or so everyone thought. But in a power grab meant to reform the club and clean up the mountain lion shifters' territory, Erik and his Brothers manage to turn the MC around and make strides toward redemption.
Years have passed. Neither of them is the same naive child they were.
Dawn is coming home. And she isn't alone. Pulled back to Montana and the safety of family, Dawn returns to Springset in the hopes of creating a new life for herself and her young son. But the boy's father, dangerous and controlling, wants his progeny and his plaything back under his thumb. And he is willing to cross into IMP territory to retrieve them.
Can IMP keep the uncontrollable rival crew at bay and give Dawn a chance at a fresh start? And can Dawn and Erik finally overcome the impulse to run, and open their eyes and hearts to the possibility they've had in one another all along?

I am honestly counting down the days until we go to Salem!
Mariah and I will be signing on Sunday, and can’t wait to meet all of you. We have a really fun surprise, that our vigilant and savvy readers might have already caught wind of, and some really amazing swag that we have been working on for the past year. Also, if you are fortunate enough to be a VIP for the event, we are part of the Charm Bracelet Hunt! (Don’t worry if you aren’t a VIP, we have no intention of leaving you out. We have some super special charms for our readers that will be given as part of your free swag with any purchase, while supplies last.)
If you missed my pre-order, that’s alright, I will still have lots of fun things for you all to check out (sticker, I have all the stickers ever), including books, postcards, a few bigger items like tote bags and mugs, and of course lots of stickers. Mariah will also have a good number of books (but be quick, they’re going to go fast) and her own swag and sticker collection.
If you aren’t able to come to the signing in Salem, Mariah and I (along with our favorite beta reader/PA Sara) will be at Wild Deadwood Reads in June 2024. Along with more signings, which we will keep you all updated on.
I’m always excited to hear from my readers. If you have a comment, a question, or a suggestion of what you would like to see in the future, at one of our events, or even just want to say “HI” drop a comment below. Leaving a LIKE doesn’t hurt either.
Until next month my lovely readers. Oh! And if you figure out our secret, DM me on Instagram (I want to know who’s got those eagle eyes out!), don’t spoil it for everyone else.
XOXO,
Kat
There had best be lots of pics and all the hugs. I'm with Shelly, I wish I could be there with you both.
I wish I could go to Salem! I’ll have to settle for lots of pictures and consoled myself with all these books!!
