Hello Kittens
I’m starting to get really excited about Deadwood. Now, I’ve been to South Dakota before. It’s been a while, but once upon a time yours truly was a synchronized swimming phenom (okay, so I was pretty average, but I am part fish, so there is that), and I would go to swim competitions all over the US (mostly Midwest, lets be honest), and I got the chance to see some of the Dakotas through that. But it’s been more than twenty years, and I’ve never been to Deadwood. Thanks to my beautiful bestie
I’m going to be at Wild Deadwood Reads in June, along with my oldest, Mariah’s amazing daughter, and our favorite Beta Reader, Sara. Now, going to Deadwood from Denver (I have to fly somewhere, its a long drive from Illinois after all), isn’t nearly as epic a road trip as Salem was in September, but any chance to get extra time with my friends and our kids, I’m in. Plus, the bonus of meeting readers, and getting to see authors I love, it’s a mini break made in heaven.
The middle of April, let me be honest, isn’t my favorite time of the year. April 20th is my father’s Yahrzeit (that’s Jewish for death anniversary) and this year is the second one. In fact, next to me right now is the blue and white candle, lit in his memory. Losing a parent is never easy. And even two years on it still feels very fresh. And I swing from that to my favorite holiday. Passover starts on Monday, and balancing the grief that’s still heavy on my mind, with the idea of gafiate fish and matzo is playing havoc with my emotions. Doesn’t help that both going to the cemetery and coming from the cemetery, mom’s car decided that it was just going to quit working in the middle of the road. Sufficed to say, I’m ready for my mini break!
Anyway, keep your eyes open for more books coming from both myself and from my favorite book wives (they’re all my favorite), and some of our lovely cowrites, are on the docket too!
XOXO,
Kat

Welcome back to Blood Moon.
It’s been a while since the last Blood Moon book hit the shelves, but here’s your chance to get requited. After all, Crow Moon is FREE. No reason not to snatch that up and dive into the series. And now is the best time, since Crow Moon wont be FREE forever!
On the hunt for dark witches fleeing with a dangerous book of magic, Blood Moon can't afford distractions. And that includes a moment of respite with a shiny new mate. Good thing Doc is positive that possibility has passed. Nothing could prepare him for what the goddess has in store.
Doc has given his life to Blood Moon and the Nomad chapter of the MC. It had been years since he'd even considered the likelihood of a fated mate crossing his path, much less agreeing to a life on the road with the rough and ready bikers. And yet, the Goddess sees fit to throw her directly into his path just as the Nomads are on the hunt for Trillium Moon and Hekate's stolen book. Complicating matters even further, Nora is young–too young. There's no chance in hell that Doc will subject her to the difficulties of being mated to the club's doctor and a life without roots.
Nora came to Taos for one thing: to escape the hold of her rigid parents by joining her older brother, Tank, the Sgt-at-Arms of the Blood Moon Riders' Taos Chapter. Nora thinks she's finally found her peace–and maybe her place–in New Mexico, until she runs smack into her fated mate in the visiting Nomad Chapter's handsome doctor. She is immediately drawn to his calm, solid presence. But Doc wants nothing to do with Nora, barely a college graduate and several years his junior. Nevermind that the chemistry between them hits like a bomb going off. Nevermind that in one another's arms, the dark clouds of war feel far less ominous.
Finding the mate you never expected in the midst of war is a test of conviction and fortitude–something Doc and Nora have in spades. They must learn to believe in the wisdom of the goddess–and that they deserve the fierce promise of love that has been offered to them–in spite of all the obstacles. Or Doc will leave Taos bereft of half his soul, and Nora rootless and alone with darkness closing in.
Who’s ready for some book signings?
This year, I am fortunate enough to get to go to three amazing signing events! I can’t wait to get to meet more of my readers, and get some face time with my author and reader friends who live much too far away.
WILD DEADWOOD READS:
I will be attending with
and our wonderful beta reader turned PA Sara. This is a FREE signing that will take place in Deadwood South Dakota during Wild Bill days. The event will be held at the Lodge in Deadwood from 9:30am until 3:30pm. You can find out all the information on the event itself at www.wilddeadwoodreads.com and find my preorder HERE! I will be traveling to this event from the Midwest, so I will have a limited number of books with me, please preorder anything you absolutely want to have!GETTING WITCHY WITH IT:
This will be the second year that Mariah Thayer and I will be attending, this year we will be accompanied by
and our PAs Sara and Debra as well. This is a FREE event, but of course you can get VIP tickets for an enhanced experience. It will take place at the Boston Marriot Peabody, and Mariah, Shelly and I will be signing on Saturday September 14th. Any information you could need for the event will be on the Anytime Author Promotions website and my preorder for this event is HERE. This year, unfortunately I will not get the amazing experience of driving from Illinois to Mass (not sarcastic, I really loved the road trip we took last year) and thus will have a limited number of books! Please preorder.BOOKS BY THE ARCH:
On October 5th I will be signing at Books by the Arch in St. Louis Missouri on my own. I will of course have my lovely PA Sara with me (who I am more than grateful for, cause I’m not the worlds best peopler when it comes to large crowds—I promise I want to talk to you all! I just freak out a bit.) You can find tickets for this event HERE and more information on the event itself HERE and if you want to preorder books from me you can do so HERE. This is a hometown even for me, so I’m likely to have a good number of books on the day, but if you want to ensure you gets specific books, please preorder (and they come with extra swag when you do!).
WHO WANTS A FREE BOOK?!?
This year I have gotten together with some of the very best in Romance, to be able to offer my readers a free book each and every month.
WHAT?
Yes. A free book from some of my favorite authors will be available in my first of the month news letter.
Jenny’s First Date
This is a prequel novella to the Snapdragon Romance series. It's free and exclusive to my newsletter subscribers at present!
Jenny is attending a conference that will help her decide on her career path when she gets swooped up by a handsome fellow on the dance floor...who proceeds to introduce her to the underground world of pole dancing. This steamy novella sets the stage for the rest of the books in the Snapdragon Romance series.
BOOKFAIRS
Every month, I drop a couple of books into a bookfunnel promo. My lovely friend
TK Eldridge has been running them once a month, and I love getting to see all the new authors, finding new favorites, and getting to share them with you.
If you could, please click the link, it helps me so much, and maybe you’ll discover something amazing as well.
I’m REALLY hoping to make it to a signing this year to see you 🤞🏼 Sending healing vibes, grief is such a tricky thing. Love you dear friend!
Absolutely cannot wait to see you and my Nathaniel soon. <3 and super glad to be working on Doc's story together.
