Hello Kittens
So, no surprise to anyone who knows me, I am yet again late with this newsletter. I would apologize, but I’ll do it again, so 🤷♀️. Anyway, as much as I’m sure you’re all wondering about my lateness, let me just say, it’s for a good cause, I finished Possessing Scarlet! And it will drop into your hot little hands on the 12th. I can’t tell you how excited I am about this book. While it started out in a boxset for dark fairytale retellings, it took on a life of its own as soon as I met each of the characters, and has left the boxset and is now the flagship book for a new Omegaverse series, called Secretverse.
Enough about writing for right now! Let’s talk life.
More than a month in, I have settled into my new job. I love it. It never occurred to me that I would love teaching pre-school until I was down in it. It started out as me volunteering a few days a week, and transformed into a new job. I just enjoyed being at the school so much, and spending time with the tiny humans. I have taught both high school and middle school in the past, and thought that I would never go back to teaching in any form. But here I am. I love it.
My youngest and I got to have an amazing spring break together. We did all the things that we could think of. We went out to lunch, spent a lot of time with my younger sister who came to stay with us, went to the zoo, the butterfly house, and last but not in anyway least, I got a new tattoo! It was all too much fun, trips to get Boba Tea, going to the local occult shop, and experiencing all kinds of incense thanks to my sister, are only the tip of the iceberg.
Up next? I’m heading to Deadwood South Dakota for Wild Deadwood Reads with some if my favorite human beings,
, her daughter and my oldest kiddo. Not to mention our very lovely friend Sara, who is also the worlds best beta reader. But more about my book signings down below.XOXO,

WILD DEADWOOD READS:
I will be attending with
and our wonderful beta reader turned PA Sara. This is a FREE signing that will take place in Deadwood South Dakota during Wild Bill days. It will take place at the Boston Marriot Peabody, and Mariah, Shelly and I will be signing on Saturday September 14th. Maid of honor, Merry Bright thought she’d put together the perfect low key bachelorette party for her sister’s third attempt down the aisle.
Too bad the irresponsible bride and the other ungrateful attendants don’t share her vision.
Once again, Merry’s left doing damage control in the wake of her wild-child sister’s shenanigans. Only this time Merry’s the one in deep snow when Gabe Kryzmis, the grumpy sheriff of Idunno county, is mistaken for the party's exotic entertainment.
