It's been a minute...
Hello Kittens
This year has been a rollercoaster, especially the last few months. Life has taken a few turns that I wasn’t anticipating, and I’m still trying to process what that will mean for me in the future. But don’t worry, I’ll still be writing no matter what else happens.
What have I been doing the last couple of months, while I’ve been AWOL? Overtime. Overtime and reassessing how I run my house, including changing some things that were long over due. Also cleaning. Lots of it. My house needed to be cleared out. You would be surprised how cluttered your brain can feel when there’s just too much stuff hanging around. And I’m not done. There are still a couple of nooks and crannies that I haven’t tackled.
I have also been spending a lot more time with my kids. Beyond just going to and coming from school, we have taken some trips up to Galena Illinois (if you haven’t been, I suggest going! It’s a beautiful town, and they have all kinds of festivals and activities a la Stars Hollow, IYKYK). But also to the St. Louis Art Museum, the Missouri History Museum, the Butterfly House, and so many more places that are around the area and are low to no cost.
Have I been writing? Some? I have some really exciting projects that I can’t wait to tell you all about, but I’m not quite ready for that yet. You’re just going to have to keep your eyes peeled for more newsletters and my occasional post on Instagram or Facebook. But for now, we have the next book in my Secretverse series, as well as more Lords of Khaos in the works.

I will be returning once again to Deadwood! I had such and amazing time there last year, that I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to dive in again. This year I will have a story in the Anthology as well, so keep your eyes peeled for those. I will be joining my lovely book wife

Finally, I’ll be back in my hometown for Books by the Arch. My book wife

I’m excited to see all the readers this year, and I’m thrilled I get a chance to sign at this event once again.
